From October 4 to 6, 2024, the Beneva Quebec Marathon presented by Montellier will bring Quebec City to life! Here are some free activities to fully experience the frenzy of this weekend, whether you’re a participant in one of the events or a spectator. There’s something for everyone!

For Endurance Athletes:

Guided course previews in collaboration with Running Club La Foulée are back! Come discover the Beneva Quebec Marathon presented by Montellier course before the start, allowing you to familiarize yourself with the route, section by section. It’s free and open to all, no registration required.

When? Saturdays, August 24th, September 7th, and September 21th, at 8 AM.

For Enthusiastic Supporters:

Love being at the forefront of sports challenges? Perfect! The festive area at Place Jean-Béliveau, gathering the starting and finishing line of the Beneva Quebec Marathon presented by Montellier, includes a 400-seat grandstand!

For Sports Enthusiasts:

Enjoy being in the midst of action? Position yourself along the course of one of the event’s races, bring your cowbell and encouragement sign! Be at the forefront of this sports challenge that unites beginner runners, enthusiasts, and competitive athletes.

The Expo Je Cours Qc is back this year. With the same formula, in an even larger space at the Centre de Foires, right on the ExpoCité site. For Kids:

Make a memorable time for your kids while waiting for your favorite runner to cross the finish line! On the agenda: a playground inspired by Peter Pan’s imagination to cultivate their sense of adventure, a makeup area to color your little one’s faces, and Champion, the mascot of the Quebec Remparts, will entertain them.

For Music Animation Enthusiasts:

Experience a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere with 23 free music animations spread throughout the entire course of the Beneva Quebec Marathon presented by Montellier. Tap your feet and clap along as the runners pass by!

For History Enthusiasts

After crossing the finish line, come celebrate your achievement at the 25th Anniversary Marathon Exhibition & Michelob Ultra Bar! Explore the highlights of this iconic sporting event while enjoying a light blonde beer, perfect for quenching your thirst after the effort.*

For Party Lovers

The finish line at Place Jean-Béliveau will be buzzing with partner activations, a DJ set, interactive games, and gourmet food stalls. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with activities for the whole family, relaxation spaces, and opportunities for souvenir photos with your medal. Plan Your Travel! Arrive Early!
The ExpoCité site remains operational, including the Grand Marché.
Here’s all the useful information to help you get to the event:

ON FOOT

  • If you live nearby, why not turn your walk to the starting point into part of your warm-up? It’s a great way to prepare while avoiding the hassle of parking!

BY BIKE

  • Bike parking will be available on-site.
  • Don’t forget to bring your lock to secure your bike !
  • You can also take advantage of the àVélo bike-sharing service, with a station located close to the start and finish areas.
  • Psst ! You can leave your bike helmet at the cloakroom at the finish site.

BY BUS

  • Using RTC services is highly recommended.
  • SPECIAL OFFER | FREE TICKETS : For the Marathon Beneva de Québec presented by Montellier, participants will receive a complimentary card with two bus tickets.
  • This initiative, created in partnership with RTC, aims to reduce the number of vehicles and facilitate access to the start and finish sites, while promoting active mobility and the use of public transportation.
  • Visit the Information booth at Expo Je Cours Qc during bib pick-up to obtain a two-ticket chip card by presenting your 2024 participation bib.
  • Certain conditions apply, including a limit of one two-ticket card per runner (one round trip). First come, first served, with a maximum of 750 two-ticket cards available.

BY CAR

IMPORTANT! If you plan to drive to the event, make sure to plan your trip and arrive early!

There are several parking spaces available at the ExpoCité site, near the Centre Vidéotron.

  • On Friday, October 4th, parking will be free. Psst! Take advantage of this to pick up your bib!
  • On Saturday, October 5th, and Sunday, October 6th, parking will cost $15. There will be no short-term parking available.

Note ! Access to ExpoCité will be as follows :

Saturday, October 5th

BEFORE 10:30 AM
  • Access via boul. Wilfrid-Hamel or rue Soumande.
  • You will then be directed to the available parking areas.
  • Please note that it will not be possible to exit from parking lot P6 before 12:45 PM.
AFTER 10:30 AM
  • Access via rue Soumande only.
  • You will then be directed to the available parking areas.

Sunday, October 6th

BEFORE 6:30 AM
  • Access via boul. Wilfrid-Hamel or rue Soumande.
  • You will then be directed to the available parking areas.
  • Please note that it will not be possible to exit from parking lot P6 before 10:30 AM.
AFTER 6:30 AM
  • Access via rue Soumande only.
  • You will then be directed to the available parking areas.
Street parking
  • Street parking is permitted in the vicinity of the ExpoCité site, in accordance with current Quebec City regulations.
Drop-off

You can be dropped off near the departure site at the Centre Vidéotron, accessible via rue Soumande and rue de l’Exposition. See the map.
