For the Pink Corral, results are established on the basis of the official time, in accordance with national and world standards.
For General Admission, due to the TCB’s wave starts, results and rankings will be established on the basis of Chip time, i.e. the time from the moment the participant crosses the start line and the chip on his or her number is triggered.
Results are based on official times, according to national and world standards.
The difference between Gun Time and Chip Time
Official time
Official time corresponds to Gun time.
It’s the time from the moment the gun is fired. It’s the time that runs on the clock from the start of the race.
Chip time
This is the time from the moment the participant crosses the start line and the chip on his or her number is triggered (chip time).
Unless you’re on the first line of the race, there’s bound to be a difference between the official time and the chip time.
